Abstract

¿¬±¸¸ñÀû: ÀÌ ³í¹®ÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀº Çѱ¹ÀÇ °í·ÉÀα¸ ÃßÀ̸¦ ÆľÇÇÑ ÈÄ Çѱ¹ÀÇ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°ú ±³À°ÀÇ Çö½ÇÀ» Á¶»çÇÏ¿© ¼±Áø±¹ÀÇ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°ú ±³À°ÀÇ Çö½Ç°ú ºñ±³Çغ¸´Â °ÍÀÌ´Ù.

¿¬±¸ Àç·á ¹× ¹æ¹ý: UN¿¡¼­ Á¦°øÇÏ´Â Àα¸ µ¥ÀÌÅͺ£À̽º1, °í·Éģȭ»ê¾÷ ±âÃÊÅë°è ÀÚ·á2 ¹× 2005³â Àα¸ÁÖÅÃÃÑÁ¶»ç ÀÚ·á3¸¦ Âü°íÇÏ¿© Çѱ¹ÀÇ °í·É Àα¸ Áõ°¡ ÃßÀ̸¦ ÆľÇÇÏ¿´´Ù. 1980³â´ëEttinger¿¡ ÀÇÇØ °³¹ßµÈ ÃÊâ±â ¼³¹®Áö7-9¸¦ ¹ÙÅÁÀ¸·Î ÇÏ¿© Çѱ¹ÀÇ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°ú ±³À° ÇöȲ¿¡ °üÇÑ ¼³¹®Áö¸¦ ÀÛ¼ºÇÏ¿´´Ù. Çѱ¹ÀÇ °¢ Ä¡°ú´ëÇп¡¼­ 1¸íÀÇ ±³¼ö¸¦ ¼±ÅÃÇÏ¿© ³ëÀÎÄ¡°ú¿¡ °üÇÑ ¼³¹®Áö¸¦ º¸³Â´Ù. ¼³¹®Áö´Â Å©°Ô ÇкΰúÁ¤ÀÇ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇÐ ±³À° ¹× ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇп¡ ´ëÇÑ ÇàÁ¤Àû Áö¿ø¿¡ °üÇÑ ÁÖÁ¦µé·Î ±¸¼ºµÇ¾ú´Ù. ¼³¹®Áö¸¦ ÅëÇØ ¾ò¾îÁø Á¤º¸´Â ȸ½ÅµÈ ¼³¹®Áö·ÎºÎÅÍ ¾ò¾îÁø Á¤º¸´Â À¯»çÇÑ ¼³¹®Áö¸¦ ¹ÙÅÁÀ¸·Î ¹Ì±¹11°ú ¼­À¯·´12¿¡¼­ º¸°íµÈ ³í¹®°ú ºñ±³, ºÐ¼®ÇÏ¿´´Ù.

°á°ú:Çѱ¹Àº 2005³â ±âÁØÀ¸·Î °í·ÉÈ­ »çȸ¿¡ ÀÌ¹Ì ÁøÀÔÇßÀ¸¸ç, 2030³â¿¡´Â ³ëÀÎ Àα¸°¡ ÀüüÀα¸ÀÇ 24.3%¸¦ Â÷ÁöÇÏ´Â ÃÊ°í·ÉÈ­ »çȸ¿¡ µµ´ÞÇÏ°Ô µÉ °ÍÀÌ´Ù. Çѱ¹ÀÇ °æ¿ì 11 °³ Ä¡°ú´ëÇÐ Áß 7°³ ´ëÇп¡¼­ ÇкΰúÁ¤¿¡ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇÐÀÌ Æ÷ÇԵǾú°í, ±×Áß2°³ÀÇ ´ëÇп¡¼­¸¸ ÀÌ·Ð ¼ö¾÷°ú ÀÓ»ó ¼ö¾÷À» º´ÇàÇÏ°í ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. Ư¼öÈ­µÈ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°ú Ŭ¸®´ÐÀ» ¿î¿µÇÏ´Â Çб³´Â 7°³ Ä¡°ú´ëÇÐ Áß 2°³ ´ëÇп¡ ºÒ°úÇß´Ù. ÇÑ Æí ¹Ì±¹ÀÇ 54°³ Ä¡°ú´ëÇÐ Áß 53°³¿¡¼­ ÇкΰúÁ¤¿¡ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇÐÀ» Æ÷ÇÔÇÏ°í ÀÖ¾ú°í, 36°³ ´ëÇп¡¼­ À̷мö¾÷°ú ÀÓ»ó¼ö¾÷À» º´ÇàÇÏ°í ÀÖ¾úÀ¸¸ç, 16°³ÀÇ Çб³¿¡¼­ Ư¼ö Ŭ¸®´ÐÀ» º¸À¯ÇÏ°í ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. À¯·´ÀÇ 27°³±¹ 82°³ÀÇ Ä¡°ú´ëÇÐ Áß 68°³ÀÇ Ä¡°ú´ëÇп¡¼­ ÇкΰúÁ¤¿¡ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇÐÀÌ Æ÷ÇԵǾî ÀÖ¾ú°í, 50°³ÀÇ Çб³¿¡¼­ À̷мö¾÷°ú ÀÓ»ó¼ö¾÷À» º´ÇàÇÏ°í ÀÖ¾úÀ¸¸ç, 15°³ÀÇ Çб³¿¡¼­ Ư¼öŬ¸®´ÐÀ» º¸À¯ÇÏ°í ÀÖ¾ú´Ù. ¹Ì±¹°ú À¯·´ ±¹°¡µé°ú ºñ±³ÇßÀ» ¶§ Çѱ¹ÀÇ °æ¿ì ºñ±³Àû ´Ù¼öÀÇ Çб³¿¡¼­ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇÐÀ» Á¤±Ô ÇкΠ°úÁ¤¿¡ Æ÷ÇÔÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀº »óÅ¿´°í, ´Ù¾çÇÑ ÀÓ»ó ¼ö¾÷ÀÌ º´ÇàµÇÁö ¸øÇßÀ¸¸ç, Ư¼ö Ŭ¸®´Ð°ú °°Àº ½Ã¼³ÀÌ ºÎÁ·Çß´Ù.

°á·Ð:Çѱ¹ÀÇ Ä¡°ú´ëÇп¡¼­ ³ëÀÎÄ¡°úÇÐ ±³À°Àº ´ëüÀûÀ¸·Î °­ÀÇ¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ÀÌ·ç¾îÁ³°í, ÀÓ»ó ±³À° ÇÁ·Î±×·¥Àº ¼±Áø±¹°úºñ±³ÇßÀ» ¶§ Àß Á¶Á÷È­µÇÁö ¸øÇß´Ù.

Purpose:The aim of this study was to evaluate the current status of dental geriatric education in Korea.

Materials and Methods: One of the faculty members related in geriatric education was selected in each Korean dental school and the questionnaire on geriatric dental education was sent to them by e-mail. The questionnaire consists of the topics about undergraduate geriatric education and administration of the geriatric education. The information obtained from the questionnaire was compared with that of other countries in the aspects of curriculum, teaching methods, subjects, and existence of specific clinics, etc.

Results: Seven schools have geriatric dentistry in undergraduate education curriculum. Among those, only two schools had it taught by theoretical lecture as well as clinical lecture. Two dental schools had specific geriatric clinic among seven dental schools. Compared with the USA and western European countries, the geriatric dental education in Korea is at a developing stage and was perfunctory without diverse clinical experience.

Conclusion: In Korean dental schools, geriatric education was mostly conducted by lectures, and clinical teaching programs were not well organized compared with developed countries. It seems that the status of geriatric dental education in Korea has not been well established academically or administratively yet.
